We want photos but don’t know where! Can you help?

No problem! I aim to bring out the best in my clients and their preferences. To get a better understanding of what you're looking for, I'll send you a questionnaire to gather information about your vision for the session. If you already have a location in mind, that's great! Just let me know and we can work with your ideas. But if you're unsure, I'll ask some questions to help get the ball rolling on potential locations.

Based on your responses, I'll suggest locations that match your style and preferences. For example, if you prefer more city-style settings or outdoor locations, I can provide options that fit your taste. My style thrives in locations with textures and shapes, especially in city settings where we can get creative. You can also check out my portfolio to see my versatile style and previous locations.

How long until we get our session images?

According to my contract, the delivery of images can take up to 4 weeks. However, I typically aim to have them finished and sent to my clients within 2 weeks. If you require your images sooner than this timeframe, please reach out to me to discuss the possibility of rush fees.

The cost of rush fees can vary from $50-$200, depending on the urgency and complexity of your request. By paying this fee, I will prioritize your project and work to complete it as quickly as possible.
My goal is to provide my clients with high-quality images in a timely and efficient manner. So if you have any concerns or need your images sooner, please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss the options available.


How will we get our images?

Depending on your package you will get your images by digital download and/or you will order prints and products. For digital downloads you will receive your own personal link to download the images . They will be downloaded in a compressed folder to your computer. Then you can unzip the folder and copy the images over into whatever way you like to store your media. We recommend backing them up to a hard drive and a cloud system. It's also smart to keep them on a flash drive and put them in a fire safety box in your home. You will also be able to order prints, products, and a backup plan from your gallery.

Can I share my images online and are they watermarked?

The images you receive will not be watermarked. We just ask when sharing images online I we would love proper photo credit to CTG Photography! It helps people you know find us easy if they would like to follow our work or book with us!

What if it rains for our shoot!?!

No worries, we can keep an eye on the weather. We know western PA is basically the Seattle of the east cost haha! With that said if its going to be a down pour or other unfortunate whether we can reschedule. We will both see what works best with schedules to accommodate the new shoot.

Or since a little rain can be fun to shoot in as well we could find areas that are covered for most of the shoot. Then have a bit of fun in the rain after to get some unique shots!

We're not Photogenic… how can you help?

Listen…. Unless you’re a professional model, we all get a bit camera shy and that is ok! Depending on the type of shoot I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve. With couples I will make fun prompts that are out of this world and make you laugh. For newborns and children I’ll let you know what to bring to help the session run smooth. Seniors will be so comfortable because we will cater their shoot for them and it will fit their personality so well! We will do whatever we need to do to get the most genuine smiles. I’v photographed hundreds of people of all ages and we will work together to make the best of any situation… even if there are some nerves…. that is ok :-) !

What’s your copyright policy?


I retain all rights to my images. They are copyrighted by me, CTG Photography LLC and cannot be published, distributed, sold without my explicit permission. Clients get full printing rights! I can explain this more on a call!

What is your experience and background as a photographer?

For the last 17 years of my life I’v had a camera in my hands! And for the last 10 years I’v been a professional photographer. I’v photographed hundreds of weddings and hundreds of sessions honing in on my craft! 

What equipment do you use?

I use Sony Professional camera gear.

How Far in advance should I book a session?

I generally book up to 6 months in advance to as little as the week of. It really depends on how filled my schedule is and your needs of returned images. On average most people are booking one month prior. 

Do you offer any special packages or promotions?

If I am having any sales or promotions they will be on my IG, in my info section of the website or out by email. If you would like to join the newsletter you can do so here. 

Do you offer hair and makeup services?

Yes, when inquiring let me know you’re interested and I will reach out to the artists I use to see who is available.

WEDDING INFO


How do we save the date? What if someone else inquires for the same date?


I receive a number of inquiries and I can only reserve a date with a signed contract and a cleared retainer. Retainers are $1,000. Until I have a signed contract and retainer the date is open to anyone who inquirers. If you are interested in booking and are reviewing my contract if another couple messages me for your date I will let you know that another couple has inquired. And you will then have 24 hours to sign your contract or the date is open to the other couple as well to sign their contract.

How many images do we get?

It’s hard to say an exact amount of images that will be included in your gallery. Ever wedding is different and because of this certain parts of the day can have more or less images than another wedding. An approximate amount of 75-100 images per hour is the usual for my clients.


How long until we receive our wedding images?

My contract states within 4 months you will receive your wedding images. Depending on the time of the year I can get them completed to you within as early as 4 weeks.Sometimes life happens and I like to have a good buffer time in case of emergencies in my own life. But I will always work diligently to get the images to my clients! 

How much wedding coverage do I need?

Every wedding is different. Sometimes during the early stages of booking you don’t know how much time you need. For most of my weddings the average amount of time is 8-10 hours. If you don’t know how much time you need when first booking you can always add time on once we start working on the timeline.

Do you offer second shooters?

Yes, you can add on second shooters to your packages. A second shooter can add variety to the shots. You will get multiple angles and different perspectives. Second shooters a great for people who want getting ready shots of both sides of the wedding party. It also helps with getting more images done during portraits!

How long until we see our wedding images?

If you sign a model release within 1 month you will see sneak peeks on social media! Depending on the time of the year the timeframe can fluctuate!
